Getting money back to the wife while on the road

Money Gram or Western Union all truck stops have them, or pre loaded debit card that she has and you can add money online.

 

What I was doing and some of my drivers have been doing is to give wifey comchecks, keep a list of those check numbers with you, and then load up the check with the mount. Take it to the bank and have them cash it. Some banks need lessons on how they work but never had one refused.

I tried the western union crap, never had luck with it where there was not a place to pick up the money.

 

Do you each have a checking account? Most banks now have an online method of transferring funds even to a different bank than your own.

 

Wal-Mart to Wal-Mart money gram has worked for me, then I decided to just get us a joint account since my money is hers, and vice versa.

square cash works great and is free if you wait a business day for transfer to happen. It costs $1 for every $100 transferred if you want it to transfer instantly.

 

e-transfer, you can send money to anyone with a email address for pennies. Western union for the high rollers

You can also setup a PayPal account for both that address set up into both accounts, then you can send money via a friends and family gift without paying the pay pal few
