Getting money back to the wife while on the road

You can pick up Money Grams at any Walmart, but your idea isn't bad either.

 

Only problem with any Wal-Mart transaction that requires going to the service desk, is the length of time you have to wait in line to do your transaction. They NEVER have enough customer service people at the service desks.

IMHO electronic transfer is THE way to go. It's certainly one of the cheapest, and often is free.

 

There is also the option of having a joint account, along with both of you having your own accounts. I can appreciate you not wanting a joint account as your only account though. Just not a good idea, until you are actually married. And even then, it may not be a good idea. Really, it depends on your situation.

 

You don't even have to go inside anymore. You can do it through the money gram system in the money gram website

 

Yeah but here is the thing, you get paid on a Thursday, wife needs the cash in the account by Friday what do you do when you are sitting at the dock and the nearest Walmart is 49 miles away in the other direction?

The reason why the comcheck is a good solution is that you do it right over the phone in less than a few minutes.

Make an honest woman out of your girlfriend. Open up a joint account and do direct deposit into that account. Better yet make her get a CDL and team drive with you so you're never without snuggles.

Internet transferr via your bank..
Basically go into your account as if paying an online bill...Ad her name as payee..Send x amount of $ and set up security question and answer that you both agree on......She then gets a msg that you sent $,she reads email,selects her bank and acc # and bam..Its there..
I pay my rent like that all the time..It come out of your acc as you do it but stays in internet limbo till she accepts with correct security answer..
They dont answer correctly after a few trys,its back to you...

Take all of a min or two to do..Well here in canada it does..
