    I found out from another fmr sni ic who just came to mercer who had the same ica/icr that the icr nathan abruptly quit...that don't surprise me since he was open with me with what they were doing to ic's and i guess he just wasn't going to participate in the crap any longer..

    They're doing whatever they can to make Schneider look profitable - regardless of what it does to long term growth and any ethical concerns.

    They are putting unprepared drivers on the road - both company and IC.

    They are cutting staff which makes impossible to roll with the punches we run into. Case in point - was supposed to pick up a preloaded trailer but the customer was running behind. The customer did have two loads ready going to the same destination. All three were supposed to deliver by 1400 Saturday, 150 miles away. I called in at 1000, gave them the load numbers that were ready to roll and then sat by the gate waiting for an answer. At 11 I called in again and was told they're still working on it, I said don't bother because I won't make it there before the customer closes at that point. Had this happened M-F I would have had an answer and been rolling within an hour.

    I'm in a loaner truck because Edwardsville is short staffed and over booked. Same thing at Dallas, Indy, and Gary. Can't get a PM done on hometime anymore because it costs too much, instead I get paid breakdown and get a hotel room - plus the truck sits idle for an extra day.

    We have a lot of good people in Green Bay that work to make this a good company to work for and with. More and more they seem to be getting drowned out by Balance Sheet Bawlers - guys concerned about how the balance sheet looks, not our core values.
