I was gonna say or vice versa. Thanx, I'll be in my truck with my other set of keys. LOL

Half the fleet is in this locale, may be a bit of a wait getting a move out of here tomorrow morning. I'm not delivering at Publix, I got the oddball load going to Aldi a few miles away. I rolled the dice on being able to park onsite and I lost. The store is closed for renovation and the parking lot is fenced in and the gate is padlocked.

I'm tucked in on what I hope is their driveway and not a public road. Sure hope no local cops get bored tonight and figure on messing with a sleeping trucker to liven up their night. Sleep may be a luxury tonight anyway as the loud exhaust, lifted truck crew seem to love blasting around my little corner of this county.

Yeah, I hear there are 11 Abilene trucks due here at the Publix tomorrow. That'll be fun.

Well, worst comes to worst, we've got plenty of room down here at the Publix.

    Redtwin Thanks this.

I took a look and I'm not as close as I thought, just about 12 miles away. With that many trucks in the area there is no way I'm starting my clock until I get a load.

Welp, Redtwin is no longer an International Man of Mystery, as I bumped into him at the Pilot in Indian Trail.

However, he is not nearly as red as advertised. And there only seemed to be one of him. Clearly I will need to take this up with the advertising board.

    Lonesome and Redtwin Thank this.

69 on pedal. 71 or 72 on cruise. Trucks are no more than 3.5 years old. We will be getting 2018s and losing 2014s soon.

    newshoes and Redtwin Thank this.

Fair point on the redness, but I am big enough to be two people. It was good to meet up with you. I've met most of the regulars on here, even RC though she didn't know it at the time.:D

I didn't realize until after when some things you mentioned then matched stuff you posted on here. I've seen you at the yard a couple other times but not at opportune moments for an introduction.

Be prepared though, next time I see you I'm saying hello, even if it means jumping in front of your moving truck:eek:
