FYI, Sealy is no in no out as of current. If you are coming to Houston, please be careful. Us Drivetexas.org to check road conditions! Also Louisiana is getting hot with rain as well as East Texas! New Caney was locked out by water well.

I believe there are 5 of us from our DC going. We are headed to a stageing area outside of Houston. I was told my load is already on our yard. We are to be briefed in the morning on the game plan. Once I get more info I'll post it tomorrow night when I'm in route. I got plenty of clothes packed and plenty of food. I was told I would be gone for 2 weeks but I am willing to stay longer. I got a 16 ft john boat. I'd bring it if I could.

alright, I FINALLY can say that I read the good, the bad, and the entire 1,000 pages of this thread. Very informative, and at times nerve racking the way things have been going or at least that's how some of you feel about wal-mart and their feelings of a private fleet.

So with that being said my questions are as follows.

    - After being hired on how long does it take for you to be assigned your own personal truck?
    - Are the insurance plans still expensive for family?
    - What is it like to work at Johnstown, NY DC and what states do they service?
    - 1 phone interview, DC interview pre-trip, road test, then sent to DR for physical and Drug testing?
    - How long are you considered a overflo driver or whatever its called?

You will get your personal truck after 3 mil miles. But if you mean an assigned truck. It will be once you get on a program

-Every DC is different on how long it will take to get an assigned tractor.
-Our family insurance is $128.20 every 2 weeks. Dental is $33.90, and Vision is $8.26. That will also vary by region.
    -Don't know about Johnstown.
-Yes on the run down to get hired.
-You are on the Extra board until you get on a program. However, that means you are still a full time employee and will work out your 70 every week.

Matt, and all of our Texas and LA drivers................ once again, our thoughts and prayers are with everyone there. If there was something I could do to help, besides donating, I would do it in a second. I will ask Rick if there is anything that Buckeye is doing to support you folks. If you guys need anything sent to you, or anything else, please let all of us know. I watch all of this horrified. The power of Mother Nature............. Wow !!! To see all of the folks in TX coming together to help each other is heartwarming. Please keep us informed of how everyone is.

Sounds like he is a bit too picky...get a driver you know to call Bentonville or talk to safety to see exactly what he failed you on...something smells here..
