Maybe Trump sent a message to them, "GET RID OF THE ELD MANDATE OR THERE'S GOING TO BE FIRE & FURY LIKE YOU'VE NEVER SEEN!"

 

They can take eld's and shove them up there rear end then push them out and eat it all while Im hoping they choke and die from it eld's are no more then ankle monitoring bracelets for criminals I for one am not and I resent the fact that they are accusing of being one plus they have to have a court order from a judge after I've been convicted and sentenced and released from incarseration

 

Why are so many against eLogs, but so it seems so few really complain about the HOS rules [that are really the problem]?

It just seems your energy would be better spent lobbying for sensible HOS rules changes rather than against eLogs mandate because all you're doing then, is broadcasting your preference to cheat a bad system [if possible], versus work with an improved system.

 

Welp,It's BOTH The HOS and the FORCING of a person to use electronic devices if they choose not to.

I Think its because its not a Choice many of us are infuriated......We aren't Looking to Cheat, But some of us Don't want Change. Don't FORCE change on people.When people start Forcing things...Bad Things Happen.

Phone companies tried Cancelling LandLines Slowly around my Part.......Many Old Timers Wouldn't Have it.

Everyone Wants you to pay Bills "Online" But you cannot Force it.

Same with these E-Logs- I Personally Don't care If anyone uses them or not- Make it a Choice For Safe Carriers With Good Scores and No Accidents.

I do to, but I think a lot has to do with where one is working and how they run. I can imagine lots of carrier employment options where they would truly suck, most every day

 

Ya. I don't understand the resistance to the government mandate to purchase a "self certified" product from a third party to do paperwork that has NOTHING to do with how much sleep or rest you actually get! /s/mfh
