What kind of rates should I be expecting? I know those load boards have brokers that try to skimp me on prices and make a buck off me. i am a good negotiator but i need to know how much i should ask for.

Do you have a reefer or dry van? I might be getting some ice loads this week. Rates very depending on broker or direct. It can take 3 months to get paid or 2 weeks. Depends on who you load through. I've hauled loads for 6-8 hurricanes, I've lost track, and they have all been different.
