Check out Fab Express; smallish company here in Ohio, daycab boxes. Not sure if they hire with no experience though; can't hurt. Go to their website and try.

Mast runs out of Canton or Massillon. Giant Eagle has a DC in Bedford Heights, you can try them. Used to deliver there regularly.

Mast (low pay) manual transmission I believe
Jrayl (weekly gurantee, must park at yard) mixed auto manual from what I've seen.
    Schneider
    Werner
R&j(all newer trucks seem to be auto)
    Transport america (lordstown/Warren)
    Falcon(low pay, I don't think I'd ever work there)

Not sure who has auto only.

This company hire in Ohio and are regional and 100% auto shift. You probably need a little experience 6 months. They are just trying new drivers from a local trucking school. Not sure that will work out for them. They do regional dry van and most load drop&hook. Akron is in their hiring area and the don't go to Northeast.

I checked that website. Looks ok, but doesn't say if Keller pays for the cdl school or just hires drivers from there. It does say there's no contract to sign with Keller Trucking.

I don't think they pay for CDL school. They are working with local school to hire new CDL drivers. They are just starting this. So even they are working thru this now. They are getting their first few new driver in a week or two. They got new trucks for the trainer and student. They claim they are going to really trian new driver and not run them as teams. They don't have many team runs anyway. If they find it works they may pay for training in the future.

I don't know if it will work because they run their trucks 70 hours in 6 days and to 34 reset every weekend at home or on the road.

    Chinatown Thanks this.
