T/A Petro showers

I can remember paying $5 for a "non-private" "shower" back many years ago.

Keep things in perspective and understand inflation is always and continuously working to beat us down. This is never going to change unless and until you become deceased.

 

They do it in Illinois and Indiana for sure.

 

Bottom line is, you can get away with a lot if you have absolute assurance you will NOT have to stop for an obstruction before you reach the bottom. But without that assurance, you're playing Russian roulette pushing the edge of the envelope on critical grades by pushing and testing irrefutable laws of physics and current technology limits.

From my perspective TA and petro just doesent offer much bang for the buck anymore and normally my last choice for fuel .
I will use them if I don't have a better option tho.

Is it really a big deal that TA/Petro increased the minimum to get a shower?
And they offset it by giving 2 showers if you get 120 gallons.

They still have some of the best and cleanest shower rooms in the country.

 

I remember when showers were $5. You still had to buy $50 gallons to get free shower. So what's 10 more gallons. When you're purchasing 200 gallons at a time anyways.
