They always weighed ours when we would unload. It would run from 27 to 33 per cubic foot. At 33 your hoppers would be 3/4 full. At 27 it was running over the sides. The more syrup they dump on it the better the feed quality and the stickier it is. We've had loads it took four guys four hours to chip out before. Fun times....

I have a good friend that lives in Astoria Oregon that I met down in Phoenix.

We had our campers parked by each other at the phoenix international speedway for the NASCAR races for a few years is how I met him. He runs his own fishing company there.

 

I grew up in WA state. It was big news while they were filming there. I was just a wee lad back then too.

 

That was filmed at Cannon beach.

 

You can go to the house where they filmed in Astoria. Can't go in but they don't mind if you come up the driveway.

 

Did you go tour where they filmed at @sawmill? I've seen that movie many times and I really like it.
