Once you get into back of kitchen it is boiling...dripping sweat. That is why I can't imagine a mask
I've applied so many companies, been so many interviews that I'm kind of fed up now. Here having a straight truck license with airbrakes they want experienced drivers for insurance purposes. There is a bigger demand for tractor trailer jobs....
Tired of hearing go to places for interview for them to tell me they hired someone more qualified, or their insurance company can't take me
What it really means is that they don't want to pay the the insurance company to insure me, rather take the driver with expierence and pay less to insure him
Dont know what to do anymore. Stressed at this point
....feeling sick

I don't understand it because cdl jobs are so easy to find in the lower 48.

Wearing a respirator when it is already 45 degrees where the traps are is a no go.
Talked about
45 degrees celicus
Boss says it is so hot due to number or regrerators they have running, and no ac running at night -
Are you saying you are not allowed to wear a respirator or is it just not in your comfort level?
-
More demand for tractor trailer drivers
Less demand for straight truck drivers
Cheaper to insure expierenced driver
I have straight truck license.... I've been looking for months now. There's a reason I'm getting a job sucking grease and going to interviews and not getting hired
After about 11 interviews...and months of no work
You'd be stresses out like I am. Like what's the point going to another interview -
I don't know anything about grease trap sucking job. Just see them grease trap boxes at fast food places in the back and they look nasty.
I would think the heat from working outside in the sun all day could be a factor and maybe no drinking enough water. I would think a grease trap smells 100% more then any truck stop parking lot. It does rain a wash the truck stop parking lots. -
Location of traps makes it hot as hell. Inside in backroom with refrigerators running and no ac...the heat off the refrigerators make it like a sauna
You ain't pumping grease out of a restaurant with customers around or employees around
Went to one place girl seen me open the trap..she puked
Its probably comparable to sewer..... It not the smell that gets me though
But it might be toxic?
Its not cool feeling ill. Like I almost blacked out started feeling really sick -
On the health. There is a good chance you are simply dehydrated. Most people are. They don't realize it. We need far more water to be healthy than we have any idea. Many natural health practicers have referred to this author on water... https://www.amazon.com/Water-Health...eywords=water+for+health+for+healing+for+life
I'd get the respirator. I think lots and lots of water will help you with the heat. Water, sea salt, magnesium, minerals. Also iodine in the water... That stuff takes out toxins. Filter the water... get the chlorine and especially the flouride out. Iodine will knock out flouride.
On jobs.... I can understand where you're coming from. The people hiring, are spoiled. Too easy for them. They just have to need people worse. Then they'll hire you. That doesn't do you any good right now.
I expect you don't have the money to pay for truck driving school to get Class A. Might look around for one of those companies who hire, train, and put you to work, over the road? I thought I saw a couple decent companies around here. No great deal. But the people going through them are happy. They're working. -
Drank 3 litres of water last night. That is exactly what I'm doing.... fast food restaurants. People laugh thinking your sucking s_ _ _ or sewer based on smell...
This actually loses customers for a business Brandt had the right idea. Thats why it is night time. The heat is location of the trap and the commercial refrigerators with no ac.
A mask would be ridiculous because it is too hot in there
I don't know if I was dehydrated. Possibly -
