The state of Florida opened up a phone line to report "price gouging", but how do I know if a broker is gouging when no one knows what they are charging for their service?
Are brokers scared to compete on price like we are forced to? What does a broker charge for the value he brings to the transaction? The law forces Real Estate brokers compete on price, why not freight brokers? -
Brokers don't compete on price? Please explain how you come to this conclusion.

The real problem here is, people do not understand the difference between a carrier and a broker and the owner of the freight. Please educate yourself. Thank you

Real Estate brokers that you keep referring to are the go between 2 individuals(or couples, family) purchasing/selling a house. The likleyhood of 1 or both of these parties having any knowledge on the practices of real estate brokers is very unlikely coz its a transaction they may experience 1,2 maybe 3 times in a life time. Would make sense for there to be regulation to protect people.
You are compare that to a broker that is dealing business to business. The go between 2 parties that should have negotiating skills. That should have a understanding of the business practices of who they are dealing with.
What have you done to learn about load brokering besides listing to all the #####ing and whining?spyder7723 Thanks this.
