    Drop and hook no pay for most guys , That's just trucking , Sit at shipper no pay -TJT - for short , Sit and Consignee TJT , Sit in traffic for hours to go 40 miles , then get on a straight stretch after you get past D.C. , to hear dispatch drop this at drop lot go do a live load TJT , We have to get to point where we bring home 400 a week to finally get something done , I never seen anything where everything gets put off on the driver ... Ole well That's just trucking ..,I guess that's what we all have to say .... We should start our own fight song .., We need a Union like the NFL I guess , cause we have no rights work for free it's just trucking ... Take care

    We have the Teamsters and OOIDA.
    I've never worked for a company that didn't pay detention pay. Good companies are out there, but you may have to search for them.
    There's also companies that don't do the Northeast; they're out there and there's 3 of them based in Tennessee.

    That's just trucking......until you've all had enough. Luckily I'm paid by the hour. Everything except my 30 minute mandatory break is paid.

    Yeah detention after 2 hours , What if u went to work anywhere else and done two hours for free , Ole I forgot That's just trucking..

    Stop pay is for the first two hours, then detention pay after that. The tanker company and a reefer company I drove for paid detention after one hour.

    Pro-rated into your base pay.

    You don't like your base pay, go work somewhere else.

    Sheesh, whining about drop and hooks now...

    Anytime u work u should be paid ole never mind it's just trucking ... any other job ya done some stuff for free ole yeah it's just trucking..
