This seems to be a common thread with younger folks these days. I can't do IT so try something else. Back in the day you kept trying until you could do IT. Whatever IT was...didn't matter. Keep trying.

Only time I hit something on dollar account was backing upat night and a fence board was sticking out the back of a pickup truck with no flag. Of course it was my fault, but I was a good ways away from the truck
No flag on board. I paid him for it tho.

If you get a Pete on the dollar account you are royally ####ed lmao
The Volvo I had made it a little easier. But they really should use pups for deliveries

Not necessarily if companies were against it they wouldn't hire them.

I'm just glad my pops made me learn to drive a manual car, boy are they a lot cheaper on Craigslist, because no one can drive them these days.

Having a class a with and auto only won't hurt you to much alot of companies are running autos these days. On the other hand if u where a class b driver with the same restriction it would prove harder to find work

With new drivers there are varying levels of "can't". For some of the better students.. they can downshift well 95% of the time.. for the less skilled its more like 65%. The best driver can lose their way and duff a shift and when things go bad, they stay bad and during the test they cannot recover enough to pass the test. And of course there are examiners who can and will cut drivers a break and there are students who do not need to have a break cut for them on that day.

    Fozzy,
If they know the student is having problems shame on them for not working more with him/her PRIOR to subjecting them to the extra pressure of testing. I do agree there are some that shouldn't get a break. I remember when I took my test I didn't double clutch, I floated. The examiner told me he'd take the 5 points off for the first time but wouldn't take anymore off as long as I didn't grind any gears. I didn't double clutch and didn't lose anymore points ;)

My school didnt. I even told them first of only 4 days (class B, obviously) I was pretty clueless on it. Thhe whole time they didnt give extra attention to it, even though they knew I was struggling. They already had my monry.. Wwhat do they care

Seems like a re-occurring theme with too many of these "schools".
