Sorry I just looked some of them up real quick and I see they do have training programs. Thank you so much for the helpful information. Stevens says no felony convicoons in the past 7 years. I don't have any at all. I'll keep looking at these places, if u find anymore that old be appreciated too! Thanks again

Apply to all of them. Some companies cut slack on criminal records. A couple of those I listed hire ex-cons, but that doesn't show on the websites. You never know when you'll luck out, so apply to all of them.
Millis Transfer runs eastern states only, but a good place to start. The others run coast to coast.
All those I listed have cdl training programs.

OK thanks I really really appreciate it. Brought my hopes up quite a bit. Stevens Transport is looking pretty good so far.if they allow dui's after 5 years old non driving offenses shouldn't hinder me too much.

Super nice trucks also; set up right for driver comfort and long haul trucking.
Contract Freighters has a pretty good pay package.
    Several decent choices for you.

No, it won't appear except to law enforcement and the courts. All other people won't see it including Canada when they check you for DUI and other stuff.

If there is a background check that goes beyond superficial (which is the norm in hiring, they don't take the time or the expense to go beyond that), it will show up. Even expunged records show up, it is a fallacy that it gets wiped out of all the systems and all the records because the judge ordered it so, it is impossible to do that.

But it isn't a big deal, be thankful that they would reject you, that means their driver pool is saturated and revolving door has slowed down in that company.

With thousands of companies out there, you need to stop worrying about just one.

This is actually accurate and sound advice and will actually work. My wife is a criminal defense attorney for the state of New Mexico and this exact topic has come up many times over the years. Misdemeanors are incredibly easy to have removed and there's plenty of judges willing to help an individual get their lives together.
