The hood latches are a little awkward at first, but I actually don't mind them now, and I can latch and unlatch them one-handed.

I have a 2018 Cascadia midroof, but it's still the 2017 style cab. I love it. Runs, rides and handles great. 505 DD15 and a 10 speed running smoothbore tanker in the oilfield. It's far from bare bones, though...... For a Freightliner......lol! It makes me money, so that's what counts.

GASP !!!!!
I love my 2012. It's HUGE inside ( 72" sleeper ). Mines an ISX with a 10 speed though. Averages 8.3 on 3303 miles last week, that included WTF wind storms, 2 lanes through WTF national forests. multi stops all through SoCal, LA, San Diego, and Phoenix all at rush hour.
I drove an '11 or '12 daycab at Schneiser when I was there and it was ok. Mine was ok, they had a couple that were junk for various reasons. They all had DD15's & 10 speeds. I'm allergic to autos for the most part.
But it did well. It's very different than a Volvo. So if you have been in a Volvo for awhile, yea it's going to take you a little while to get used to it.
But yea I love the one I have now. Great ride, quiet, no rattles. And it doesn't leak, I found that to be just astonishing.JReding Thanks this.
