I've walked away from several houses over the years! All had non compete clauses in contract! Thats why research is key!

Always check with at least 6 contractors try to get quartly earnings statement fkr type of freight and lanes you whish to run! If they won't provide info then move on find someone who will! Personal bad nightmare with brokerage house!

Best way find good brokerage hose to be a contractor with is asking other owner operators most won't say but some will!

In your first post you said you had some money stashed. Several post down you state LS would be a better fit for you however, you don't want to wait maybe two weeks for orientation. Being me and if I was looking to go to LS over Mercer I would do what I needed to do to get into LS. It sound like you are looking to make the big buck fast. Don't know what your overhead is like but if you don't have the money to sit for two weeks due to a break down or switching companies, you may be in more trouble then you know.
