Why do OTR megas pay so little for 70 hrs worked?

Ps I dont work that hard anymore but in the beginning! I worked my butt off! Learned all I could used every oportunity to learn! Bought my 1st truck went broke! Went back to company driver ! Saved my money and learned more! 3rd time was the charm had to learn some hard lessons so its not easy but doable!

 

Back then there was no internet no place like to get information! We learned things the hard way! So use this platform to your advantage everyone there"s alot of good information here! I whish I'd had 25 years ago!

 

Ok then you were being pretty misleading with your earlier post then weren't you.usally I stop believing the ones who change there story

 

And to be honest trucking is not my main source of income anymote and hasn't been for a while! But it was how I acquired the other assets that provide most of my income now! To be honest I drive now just to get away from them! Because this is my therapy!

 

I didnt meanto mislead you ! I just didnt put all the facts in! That trucking is not my main source of income anymore ! But it is the one that gotme where I am today! And still provides over 100k of my income today!

 

That's only 50k a truck.. that's not that great

 

And after a while you have paid for everything ! And start to acquire other assets because your accountants tell you to! That their income will eventually eclipse what your making but it took years! But a guy can do it and I am not smart! I believe today with the tools available to you! Anyone can do it! And without having to basically live in a truck for a while because you really sctewed up!

 

Its all they make now but ! I dont drive that hard anymore! And the other truck is driven by a family member who admittedly I pay a heck of alot more than I should but cheaper to employ him then pay to support his family completely out of my pocket!

 

Unfortunately pick who your childten will decide to marry or make them see what they ate! And pray this doesnt happen to anyone else but I won't see my grandchildren hungry or homeless because of parents bad decisions!

 

I thought since you said I lied in a earlier post and you told me about all the truck owners in Forbes you would show all those you claimed.Or was it the 3 out of 500,000 in Forbes I showed was that what you were calling many?
