Hello I currently have been off the road for the last 2 months, would like to get back on the road with a good company. I currently have 11 months OTR experience, are there any companies that could get me home weekly or every 10-12 days with decent pay and equipment. I live in west central Georgia

Fastenal has a big distribution center in Georgia.
CrappieJunkie and Gonzo93 Thank this. -
Check out a company called Averitt. I only know about them because they sent a recruiter to my CDL school. Local or regional, clean fancy terminals everywhere, dress code with company polo shirts, and lots of home time.
Gonzo93 Thanks this. -
Thanks for the info, i wouldnt mind being OTR if the pay was good with decent trucks/equipment, I'm about 100 miles south of Atlanta in Columbus. Averitt has a terminal around 45 minites away but you can't bring truck home, i like to run hard was thinking about pullong reefers for longer length of hauls, but im the only income in the household and 600-750$ checks will not work forme.

RWH Trucking in Oakwood,GA is refrigerated and stays in eastern states.
Loves Travel Centers; apply online: can haul diesel or non-hazmat DEF.

West Side Transport
K&B Transportation
and a few others, but don't know their names.
Freymiller is one of the better refrigerated companies. @Ssand Man can fill you in on the weekly pay to expect.
Magnum Ltd. drivers say they make $1000 - $1500 weekly.
I'd check with Fastenal and find out what kind of paychecks they're getting.Last edited: Oct 1, 2017
