Could you think of a company that pays $31 p/hr, time and a half after 8hrs, and double time after 12hrs. Along with company paid meals and hotel rooms everynight you have to stay out. Off every weekend and holidays also?

WMT does not rank in the top 5 of trucking outfits. But WMT means the world to ppl that have worked for nothing but OTR companies, and know nothing about the day one career outfits.

Can't wait to get out and work at a place that values their drivers again.

I can't that's why I'm asking what are the top 5 companies. Walmart was one of them but it seems that's out of the question now with their restructured pay scale.

Sorry there were never in the top five. But the way things have been going this year. I see a lot of companies lowering pay in the future.

No, except for ones hired in before oct 1st....when you hire in at 38 cents per mile...that is it...no raise at 90 days or 2years etc.

Is it a good time to come over to Freight? I heard upsf outsources and leaves their guys sitting at home a lot.
