I guess I was thinking more along the lines of the Pete. 388 and 389 like I'm in or the W900's. Been so long since I pulled a box or driven anything without a car on my head I forgot about all the newer stuff they have. They all kind of look the same now.

I did refrigerated most of my career and liked it just fine. You learn to play the game and don't let it get to you. One reason I liked refrigerated is the odd hours involved; can't stand a routine job where every day is the same.

Many reefer outfits have fancy trucks with refrigerators, APU, satellite radio/tv, hookups for compurter/video games, etc. Most are "driver no-touch" freight. Lumper services do the unloading and the shipper loads.
You have enough experience to pick a good outfit. Jim Palmer Trucking and Millis Transfer have fancy trucks with all the driver comfort amentites.
Calex Logistics does mostly California runs for produce and other food stuffs.

Holland Enterprises Inc. does long runs coast to coast.
    • Air Ride Tractors and Reefer Trailers
    • Cruise Control
    • Qualcomm
    • Satellite TV and Radio
    • Air Slide 5th Wheel
    • Engine Brakes
    • Power Mirror
    • Tri-Pac APUs on every truck in fleet
    • Inverters
    • Refrigerator/Freezer
    • And More!!

That is a righteous statement. Partly why I think I will love OTR.

Since talking trucks. I can't help but think there is a way to set up a shower in one. A circular shower curtain rod, hung. Wash tub. Basically sponge wash. Then put away.
I'm afraid I'm going to be a heavy water user.

Really I was joking around. I worked for Abilene (among others) awhile back before I started haulin'cars and my Dad was an O/O. I grew up in trucking. Thanks for the info though! I see you on here all the time trying to help people better themselves and their families. Thanks for that btw!
