As many of you know I'm starting orientation in a few weeks and I'm getting everything ready to go. So far I'm packed for the most part with clothes and sleeping supplies. My question pertains to carrying a pocket knife, is it legal to do so in a truck

Yes some military bases only allow 6" blades

Thats fine mine have a 3 blade or 3.5 can't remember exactly. Heck in class we had to use a pocket knife just to cut an air line and replace it. Seems like something useful to keep around

If you're flying to orientation they won't let you through security with a pocketknife.
