What company has the best paid vacation policy?

What you have with JB Hunt is about average for trucking companies.
Call a few places and ask what they offer.

Looks about right along with my vacation pay although I got my 4 weeks at 10 years. Better than a sharp stick in the eye. I have no idea what other companies offer.

 

At my company, I get 3 weeks of paid vacation which can be split up into 15 days. Been here 5 1/2 years.

1 year - 1 week
2 years - 2 weeks
5 years - 3 weeks
10 years - 4 weeks
20 years - 5 weeks

It'd be hard for me to leave my job based on vacation alone too.. Some places policies are horrible.

MBI trucking (garbage haulers) tops out at 3 weeks after 9 years.

Blackhorse Carriers tops out at only 2 weeks after 2 years.

 

Sure they have paid vacation. 26 weeks at a time, apply for the time at your unemployment office.

 

I think Millis has a good vacation plan maybe check them out.

 

I have vacation and don’t use it. I guess it’s there if I decide I want it.

 

My brother works for ADM they get 2 weeks after a year plus 4 personal days and 3 after 5

 

Some companies let you accumulate personal days and vacation days then sell them back if you want. Those Illinois politicians do that and don't sell them back until they retire. The whole time though they're taking vacations and personal days under the table by but not showing it on paper.
