personally I could care less about being treated like a number, as long as the numbers on the check are right.

They added cameras. I don’t enjoy the lane depart alert. The recruiting departments wildest dreams to get on best fleets to drive for. They give little to no spare time on your loads then really freak out if you’re late. They have too many short 300-600 mile loads.

Same family as CR England...hope you didn't expect much from them lol

In a larger company I could stay under the radar and maximize my income by never getting on any radar but my dispatchers. Office people don't mind wasting your time because unlike you, they are on a clock and get paid either way Even small companies do the metrics based on the performance of the truck ,not the driver. And they don't grade on a curve and give you bonuses because you did team building favors that screwed your performance numbers. I have become cynical over the years.bentstrider83 Thanks this. -
I currently work for them, I have worked for them for awhile, I did leave for the summer thinking the grass was greener in the dump truck bidness. Yeah, not so much.
Pride treats me great, no camera in my truck, if others have them, I am not aware of it.
I ask for miles, I get miles, I ask for home time, I am home.
I am always running, never have I had to wait for a pre load, I have that before I make my drop.
My DM and dispatchers all know me by name, I walk into HR, they all call me by name, I walk into recruiting, I am addressed by name, I walk into safety and logs, well you get the idea.
I have always had plenty of time to make my loads on time.
They are related by name only to C.R.. They are an entirely different company.
I like driving for Pride. I know people have differing opinions, but that is what makes this forum great, we can share opinions and info.Rattlayitdown and carramrod32 Thank this. -
Go figure. -
By no means am I saying Pride is the worst company. Just don't like the way things were handled. Rachel in safety and Steve in recruiting are the best people in my opinion that work there.
