Super duck. I need to give you some good advice. I don't know if I can post it here so send me a private message on here. I think that can be done.

Hamburger 71 - You're right, the KW's (& Petes) are a better built truck than any of the others. Even the Int'l 9900i would be a real consideration for me if the bean counters didn't ruin the truck by changing the engineers' design by cutting costs and having the cheapest parts installed (especially dash switches - they're like junk toys). That's why KW (Paccar) parts are more expensive, but for the most part they hold up wayyy longer and that's where the savings eventually come. Because of down time in replacing and r and r of those parts over and over. I've bought aftermarket parts for my KW's and found that the amount of headaches resulting due to inferior quality was not worth it. **** You also have to go price shopping with other KW dealers to get the better prices**** Never trust an MHC shop to give you the best price - or any dealer.**** Get your part number from your first call and then - Call around and get several more prices. You might even find that the first part number may have been wrong. I saved almost $300 by buying all my front end parts from another KW dealer (EVEN WITH SHIPPING ADDED) than I would've had to pay at this local MHC. Go get 'em.
