Need some advise asap please

its a tiny trivial matter by the sounds of it incidents will always happen while backing up that's why you really need a spotter or to get out and look where your backing if you were slow moving nothing really bad would of happened anyway.

Yeah man just be careful. It's been many times I've worried about red light cameras and certain things like that, if it was going to come back and bite me. But I think that just shows you care enough for it to be a concern. Just let it be a teachable moment that will help you appreciate what you do and safe trails

 

honesty is the best approach, and what society should be founded on. I can see truth or a twisted form of it in many of the responses, but life is not black and white. You most likely know in your heat if you glanced another truck. And if you could have found the truck owner or the guy I'm sure you would have approached him. Your integrity and concern is apparent buy just posting up looking for a solution. But narking yourself into higher powers may not be the best idea, the write thing perhaps if something does go further, but also the wrong thing as they won't see it that way, they will just follow procedure and probably
disproportionately crucify you.
Perhaps ol mate was having a coffee and noticed what he thought he saw, but didn't wish to do more than make you aware because of ?. Maybe a lesson learned for a trucky learning the skills. But no need to smear someones career for a very minor incident or alleged incident. Maybe this just makes you a better driver and a scenario that should be a free lesson for us all.

 

Only caveat is.. Take a few pictures of the "damage" and notice any dirt and/or rust inside the damage. Don't call the company on this though. The pics are just in case...This is very much an industry of what we say will be used against us. Calling and saying I'm not sure will do nothing but get you a preventable accident.
