I'm hauling a lift gate now, actually. But eyeballing it, there are two electrical plugs. One for the pigtail, and another outlet for another type of plug. I'm guessing the other plug powers the lift-gate, and I don't seem to have that plug available.

@ExtremeUnction there should be a battery cut off switch back there similar to ones on volvo.

The liftgate that goes underneath raise up, unchain, lower a lil bit, slide out, lower all way and pull red handle to open.

The one thats on the back gotta use both of the non up and down buttons to open and close gate at same time. Cant remember which way does what, just gotta play with it.

Good luck in nyc. That shorter distance makes bigger difference than one thinks.

You shouldn't need the plugs if the batteries are charged. The issue I had was that I didn't realize that one of the 2 control switches is just a deadman switch. Hold that one "on" and the other switch does all the controlling.

There's the NE deserter!.. I am heading to NYC too and with 53 footer!. Any tips on BH brooklyn?. My last time there I took the "wrong" route in and came very close to quitting after that ordeal. I'm going to be in the midst of rush hour traffic so that already has me worried.

Take njtp exit 13 for 278 east into the city. The goethels bridge new span is open which is much more spacious. Same with verizanno major construction was done my last time up there. They are going cashless tolling on most bridges.

After verizanno bridge ull be on elevated roadway, eventaully it turns left and another highway joins in for 4 lanes. Need to be in either of right 2 lanes. A home depot will be on left, and lower manhattan ahead.

The right 2 lanes split off annd you will go with them. Ignore gps saying take atlantic ave. The over 12 6 signs were gone last time through. This will drop you into a ditch and a 3rd lane comes in on the right. You need to stay in left or middle lane to go under the overhangs. Eventually right hand lane leaves and rejoims around exit 30. Exit 31 is flushing. Morgan ave is usually the turn the gps says to take to get to bh. Go up to the next light, knickerbocker ave with a popeyes on the right. Much easier turn and possible parking. This crosses thames which goes to the bullpen.

If you look around on google maps and stay on the bh side of flushing there is street parking if you keep looking.

Thanks, just what I was after. Google maps shows flushing ave as exit 30 off the 278. This would have me going east on flushing with bh on my left. The Popeyes at knickerbocker being well past bh. Last time I was there I made the left on Morgan from eastbound flushing...just. Is knickerbocker really the better option?.

Yes. Much wider turn. And easier turn onto thames as well.

Gotcha. The tighter angle of the left turn at knickerbocker (as viewed from google) had me wondering.

Any chance you could post a picture of that liftgate?
