Roehl has a good training reputation, that would be my choice.

Look at Jones Bros. Trucking in Missoula,Montana. They have their own cdl school for flatbed.
No forced Canada. Runs 48 states. Trucks governed @ 68 mph.
    Drop yard in Muncie,Indiana.

All trainees are PAID an hourly wage during the training process. The amount of training needed is based on each individual driver’s needs (1-3 wk avg exp drivers). Non-exp students will require the full training program which is 4 to 5 weeks (300 + hrs), Monday through Friday 7 am until 5 pm. For trips, we could leave as early as 3 am, so all candidates need to be able to be gone from Missoula for 14 hrs or more sometimes. The training trips will be the hands on over the road training, involving loading and tarping loads throughout western Montana and Idaho.
    • EACH TRIP WILL AVG OVER 300 MILES
    • STUDENTS WILL DRIVE 80-90% OF THE TRIP, depending on the level of their skill level
    • HANDS ON LOADING (load placement) STRAPPING (load securement) TARPING (weather protect)

Yes I'm doing flatbed. And their physical is cake walk. It's pretty much like an excercise machine with maybe 20 lbs resistance. IRC it was 5 repetitions of bending at the waist, rotation of shoulders, and legs. Just to simulate some of the movements of performing the job. I have 1 more week here and I'll be done. I started a thread about my experiences so far you can check it out.

Every Roehl driver I have talked to at the terminal has had no complaints about miles. The only negative reviews having to do with miles, I call BS. They were probably turning down loads.
