I do have experience living in the back of a pickup truck for 6 years in So. Cal.
yup... the cops rousted me occasionally. They usually just wanted to take care of the situation. Make sure of no threat of crime from any low life. But that is big city cops. I can't speak for some of these idiots around here. They are looking for trouble. Small town cops.
I imagine, for the most part. Depending on where you park. Shouldn't have any problem with cops. The truck rather identifies what you're doing. They ain't worried about crime. They know you have to stop. Whether you like it or not.
For a little humor: One night a cop rousted me in my pickup. Told me if he lived the way I did. He'd have a shotgun back there. He didn't want to find a shotgun. So he didn't look.
Another one.... Cops rousted me in my pickup. Asked a few questions. Then asked: Gee...you got a good job. What are you doing living like this? ... I said: I wanna buy a house in Huntington Beach! Cop said: Oh! That explains it! Go back to sleep! You need the rest!Toomanybikes, Farmerbob1, Tb0n3 and 3 others Thank this. -
