Ok fair enough. Welcome to the forum, btw.

Here's my real answer. I'm not a fan of leasing a truck. Lots of guys do it, but I won't. I was assuming you wanted to stay local, but there's very few companies that offer good paying local work. If you're making $1,000+ week, stay a company guy. A lot less headaches. What you do get by becoming an O/O is freedom and that's worth something, at least to me anyway.

Anyone knows where can I get some 2 inch hoses preferably used in the Chicago area, I'm heading over that way?

Used, not really. New, polar in Joliet sells them. How many you need?

I just need 2, I was supposed to get some from another truck but the truck never made it to the yard over the weekend so I'm stuck with 2 and due to some of the places I have been 2 hoses sometimes will make you do some risky backing

Buy new imo. If it fails and it's used it's not worth the money you saved. It's $250 a hose for 3" 20'.

    Edit:. Will company pay?

    QC yard in Chicago?

I didn't think about it, you could try either the Lansing or Joliet terminals.
