The boss decided it's time to get on board with the elog. Thought they were going to wait a bit longer but may as well get it over with. :)

He's meaning the "new blue" color. Complicated, complex, scientific process! Electron Blue?

Many [or perhaps most of us] have been there, and we made it. If you're at a good carrier with good freight availability and lanes, and people in the office who know what they're doing .... in 3 months, you'll never want to go back to paper. But if not, good luck.

Perhaps, but after just a couple weeks I'll gladly go back to paper.

No change in miles but I miss the 'flexibility'. Stopped a couple hours early yesterday because I would have been about 10 minutes short to get where I wanted to. It can be a few hours between decent places to park in some areas.

Oh well, can't complain too much about not being able to cheat I guess. It is nice to not have to fill out the paper book.

We’re all on paper still. And I drive the only newer truck, haven’t heard a thing from my boss about switching over. He won’t do it until they make him.

The problem for me, is, "where I wanted to" is home, and in a day cab stopping early means forking over my hard-earned $$$ for a motel room. So, I'll occasionally have to choose between rushing through my load securement and hoping nothing falls off, taking the time to properly secure the load and blowing past the HOS, or taking the time to properly secure the load and hammering down to make up the time. So which is the worse offense? I'm all for running legal, except for when it simply isn't an option. I'm not stopping 10 minutes from home.
