Perhaps some of you more experienced o/o have some advice. Never had to deal with a non-payment for of TONU, but it was one that cost 6 hours of time and we were loaded, then unloaded. Company only offered $100 in response to my request for $250. Filed with truckstop and the company didn't respond to them, so they dinged their credit and told us to file with the Bond company. The bond company has been unresponsive. Part of me just wants to walk away, but it's still p*&& me off. Any suggestions?

File on their bond... Odds are, you will never see a dime. Unfortunately.
wyodispatchgirl Thanks this. -
In the end they get away with it. I wish there was a better place to report/review such companies.Justrucking2 Thanks this. -
Been there too... Rarely if ever have gotten paid when running under my own Authority with just one truck, they just blow you off or black list you. The company I am leased to now, we get paid. But, they have a bit more power than me or you. It sucks, and is something that will need to be addressed in the coming months with these egg timers we will all have to install.

You can't file on a bond for TONU. Good luck with that one. Who is the broker?
