    I’m assuming it’s 1099? Sorry haven’t read every page.

Also, they claim this was with the trucks they bought from Schneider, their current trucks are all walmart trucks.

I’d be Leary of a 1099. Seems awfully easy to mess something up tax wise.

Ive been 1099 for the last seceral years, im good at writing off expenses and stuff, ive never had a problem with it. Ive only owed one year and it wasnt much considering what i made. I prefer 1099 myself as ive gotten used to it

Well so far so good, theyve fixed the few minor things i wanted fixed, they wired up my cb, met the owner and pretty much gave him every hard question i could think of. Told him i was greatly concerened about the claims they make about pay and he stayed persistent that the driver should make 1800 to 2200 a week after the percentage split. To this point ive only been let down on two things.....one, its starting to snow. I hate the heck out of some snow. And two, itll be a week or two before theyll have a Conestoga trailer ready for me. They have a stack pf brand new trailers sitting here and claim to have 4 in the shop right now having the Conestoga's put on. So i guess ill bite and go out for a week and see what happens, i am cautiously optimistic.

Not a bad looking rig; at least it's not an auto. Be sure to buy your own insurance in case you don't have any, and put money aside for quarterlies, on a 1099. If you were to get hurt, you'll REALLY be hurt... if you don't ^^^.

    Be safe; we're following.

I noticed the job ad said new equipment and new mattress... Did you at least get the new mattress wrapped in plastic still?
