I had the option of taking the mattress they had which yes it was new or getting $200 towards the purchase of a mattress of my choice. So I carefully inspected the mattress that was already in the truck smelled it and checked it out I didn't really have any complaints about the one that was in there so I said leave it I'll take the two hundred bucks

 

I like night driving as well, nothing like being alone on the road and the music turned up. As far as it being overnight freight i doubt it, average length of haul is said to be 800 miles. I myself wont be coming back up north until the day i quit lol. Ill be staying south for the winter ha.

 

Hmm, what are these jedi mind tricks.....owner goes to leave the yard for the night shakes my hand and i pull my hand back with $500 bucks in it....either hes a really good guy or this is the only money im ever getting here

 

Sure will, was told im likely headed to Texas tomorrow so thatll be nice getting out of this bs cold in Chicago. spoke to another driver pulling out a few minutes ago hes heading to Oregon with a few pumps on his back, nothing very heavy and its paying $6500 ......i havent seen money like that on a haul that easy since i was hauling pipe for shell a few years back. He still had 15 feet of open deck so hes looking for another partial to put on to get more $$ he said thatll be all he does this week and then he'll come home for a few days. None of this makes sense, im still waitong for someone to screw me before the days over.
