You just need to rethink your situation. Do something about it.

Ya I can understand that.Your time home goes too fast and some if not most companies start your home time like at midnight even if you don't get home till say noon.

Find a better company more willing to work with you and look at smaller companies. My husbands company is great with home time and he isn't limited to just 1 day for every week he's out.

Since youre already ok with staying out a month at a time, just put your stuff in storage and live in the truck. There's plenty of ways to get yourself a reliable mailing address. If you want a few days off, find a bimbo or rent a motel room. Or both.

an auto restriction? why would you want a CDL with an auto restriction, that's about useless and this is coming from someone who isnt in the best of situations either right now. i can tell you one thing i dont have, an auto restriction.

since i got my CDL about a year ago i have driven 10 speeds, a 9 speed, and several 8LL trucks. an auto restriction would preclude me from driving any of those.

in total i have driven only 3 automatic trucks. 1 werner T680, 1 rist mack automatic, and 1 automatic dump truck. an automatic restriction i think is one of the most useless things you can have, unless you want to drive a bus (no thanks)... even some of the buses are manuals (kind of rare). the bus that picks up my son is a manual though.

It's kinda like an air brake restriction. Combine the two. You drive an oversized SUV.

means you took your CDL road test in an automatic truck. take your road test in an automatic truck, the only thing your legally allowed to operate is an automatic truck. you dont want that restriction, too many manual trucks still in in the industry.
