How much of a fuel difference will you expect to see going for the 386 Pete to the international?

I'm expecting a 30% difference. Huge increase in aero dynamics, the transmission is the Advantage series manual vs the FR series, it has a 6x2, and the motor is a GHG 17 vs a 2010 EPA Cummins. A 30% increase over my current average would put me at a hair over 10mpg. I'm gunning for the big 10.

Mine has the Meritor Fuelite. I went with a wide Track axle and straight spindles. Those things will extend tire life on super singles, instead of being mounted on a 2" offset, these only have a .5" offset.

I can't even get to 7.0 on my ISX and never will... 10mph is seems so surreal especially considering heavy reefer freight. If it does it... then want a truck like that too. Fuel is over 3 dol/gal already.

Double yellow got 10mpg for well over a quarter in a 2000 Columbia with a Detroit and a 10 spd pulling van. I'm sure he is serious and looks like he specked this truck right to get it done.

That being said, most of it is in the drivers right foot. I can easily get 8 with my ISX in a 2001 international but I'm not patient enough to get it for the whole quarter.

I get excited when I see 5.7! Hopefully the new TriPac will help me see and additional .2 or so.
Gotta learn to keep my foot out of my N14.

It took me a couple months to figure this n14 out. Now I'm consistently getting high 6s to low 7s and well over 7.5 when real light or empty. not as good as my series 60 but not terrible either.

Where the heck are you running at with fuel that high? I've got my trips fueling planned out, 1st fill up @ 2.40 then top it back off @2.45 800 miles later to finish the run and get back out.
