I remember carrying all that from years ago. One reason I'm looking at a new trailer and having conestoga tarp system put on. Not as flexible as I use to be in my 20's lol. Is a nice setup you have though. Good to be versatile. Be safe out there.

Nice pic! Hate doing windmill deliveries without an escort from the windmill farm. Easy to go down wrong path.

That timing would make sense then, because it was on the east side of indy close to Ohio.

This is how a driver got killed here in Winnipeg a few years ago. Over 60,000 lbs of plate steel with 4-5 straps. Hard stop, you can guess what happened. From what I've heard of the story, he was a driver with no flat experience, told to move the trailer across the city, didn't know anything about securement and ended up dead because his employer didn't train him properly.

I hate plate steel on the best of days.

I'd want it spread out, lower centre of gravity and either cross chains or a big old bulkhead. The load looks unbalanced as well, the trailer seems to be tipping towards the passenger side.

Three 2" straps - not a chance! That's just asking for a mess at best and death/destruction at worst.
