Alright, so first direct deposit amount verified today. $1500 direct deposit, plus the $500 they gave me at oreintation, plus another $300 i took as an advance equals $2,300. I aint mad, i got to their yard last Monday, spent the day doing a drug screen and going over/moving into the truck. Drove just 200 miles Tuesday because i was puking my brains out so basically took Tuesday off. Then Ran wed thur fri made my deliveries. Picked up steel in Albama made one delivery in shelbyville indianna still have two more deliveries to go with whats on me now. So basically i got paid for the two florida deliveries and one delivery to indiana at a total of 2696 miles and theyve given me $2300 bucks and still havent paid me for the remaining 2 loads on my back that havent been delivered. In short, theyve paid me close to $1.17 a mile to put miles and wear on their equipment with basically no out of pocket expenses....ok Russians you have my attention. Lets see if the upcoming weeks produce similar results.

 

Youre mistaken. No need for ypur own equipment when 1099, youre a independent contractor, contracted to move their equipment. Its no kind of scam, im not sure why ypud even consider 1099 a scam ?

 

That thread is old almost 8 years. And a lot of people that are mistaken when it comes to talking about things they don't know about. This is the fourth trucking company that I have 1099 with and it is never a problem not at all ever. It amazes me how scared people get when they hear 1099 it doesn't make any sense it is literally the best thing that could possibly happen to you oh, you get to make business decisions you get to make decisions that you feel are best for you oh, you have control and if you end up owing a ton of money at the end of the year you have nobody to blame but yourself. IPay taxes every quarter I pay a little bit more than I think I would owe and at the end of the year I'm usually perfectly fine and owe nothing
