Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

The measurement is center of front axle to center of drive axles. Not the last drive axle, but the center of the group. 245 to 260 is common. Mine is 280 inches.

And it's my money to waste if i want a non aero truck. Why do you give a rats behind what i do with my money?

I’ve got a 237” day cab...... with a set back front axle...so mid frame is actually longer....

T-800....

 

Thats pretty stretched out for a day cab. many sleeper t800's are 240.

 

Canadian max is 244" I think most US trucks are at or under that .
Mine is 280" also if I remember right

 

Yes... heavy spec tractor and it rides nice...

And optically it looks much longer......

I looked at several EU tractors, and a wheelbase of 130 inch is about average. Surprising?
