The good news is I successfully changed my appointment time to be able to check in tomorrow for a midnight time slot. Strings were pulled. And I’ll be able to sleep on site when I’m empty, so that’s a plus. (I didn’t ask, I just do it like before, so I can play the nobody told me card if they knock, which they shouldn’t)

Can everyone please hold my hand and tell me which company has the best lease plan? And can someone tell me what’s the best truck to get? Oh, can someone fill out my application for me? What are the best freight lanes?
Where can I make the maximum amount of money with no experience or working capital, or effort for that matter?

How many of these are out there?
    Rinse and repeat.
I get asking honest questions and inquiries on something that is hard to find answers by research.
But at least start with the research. Do the reading. Decide on your own.
If they need this much guidance then maybe it’s better to be a Company driver.

Ah but today generation is spoon fed everything. They don't know how to do all the Hard work themselves.
Heaven forbid we have a global computer crash. So many would die of starvation and stupidity.

    Highway Sailor Thanks this.

Just got a call from an old friend. We go back to middle school. He was a salary kitchen manager for 14 years. The place was bought out and corporate just fired him today. He doesn’t want to go back in a kitchen to work...he is looking into being a truck driver.
He had all sorts of questions and curiosity of course. He’s not sure yet, but wants to know if he could team with me for awhile til he was comfortable. I says sure, but you have to jump through the hoops of getting the CDL and med card, then go with a company trainer for 6 weeks. I’d be happy to have the company for a little while. (Yeah I’d have to pay him, but I’d also increase productivity)
    So we will see.

Your an owner OO now. Does he have to go for six weeks? He is under Your employment not there's if he is in Your truck. You would have to pay him which mean payroll. Lol

He still has to meet the minimum standards of the company I’m leased to.
