You certainly won't find better coverage than with Verizon. I have yet to find an area where I didn't have service.

Not just wings, brother. Quaker Steak wings. I'm sure @wprice0511 can attest to how good those are, since he's from my hood.

I actually don't think I've had their wings. May have to stop there sometime.

Thanks guys, I have straight talk now that runs off the verizon towers. Still need to check into that tethering though, not sure straight talk does that.

You can buy a hot spot with straight talk or some phones can broadcast a WiFi signal BUT that will eat your data

Sup y'all. Greetings from Janesville WI. I'm on my way to Sun Prairie, which is about 40 miles from here. I'm sitting at Quaker Steak enjoying a well earned beer, and wings are on the way. So, how am I considering this beer well earned? Well, let me tell you about my morning yesterday. So, I got started a little later than I wanted, but no big deal. I headed over to the Trenton drop lot to grab my load. I grabbed my paperwork and started hunting for the trailer. There was another driver hooked to the trailer right next to it. Ok, no biggie. I'll just wait for him to move, then hook to mine. After a few minutes of no activity, I approached the truck. The tv was on, and there was a body in the bunk. Great. So I knocked to see if he was going to be moving. No answer. Two more knocks, still no answer. Apparently dude was sleeping. You have GOT to be kidding me. Look man, this lot is already a complete joke. There are too many trucks going through here and not enough room for this garbage. His trailer was tight against mine. Backing in to hook to my trailer took a decent amount of time and wiggling. Once hooked, getting that trailer out was a nightmare. What a prick. Millis or not, that guy is an inconsiderate a-hole. There simply isn't room for him to be sleeping here. After FINALLY leaving, I went back to the terminal to fuel and scale. Once finished, I exited the lot, turned right, and headed to my final. Here's where my morning gets better. I didn't get far before I saw 2 trucks stopped at the train tracks, and one of them was backing towards me in the opposing traffic lane. I pulled next to him and rolled down my window. He informed me that he and another Millis truck had been sitting at the RR crossing for an hour, and decided to back their trucks to the Millis lot and turn around. Wow. Well, ok then. I got in front of him, and followed him down the road in reverse. It was a clumsy process and took about 20 minutes. He went past the entrance and blocked traffic so that I could get in the lot, and the other Millis truck as well. That was a really nice thing to do, and I never even got to thank him. Once we made it into the lot, he followed us in. Since he wasn't a Millis driver, he turned around and bolted. Nice guy, and I definitely owe him one. So, I had to change my route which added some time. That sucks, because I had already wasted a ton of time. Such is life. I made it to my final, and was given a load that picked up today at the Budweiser brewery in St. Louis. The pickup time on my load was 2pm. On a hunch, I called in around 7am to check on the load, and it was ready. So I slid over there, grabbed my load, and came here. My load was orignally supposed to be ready an hour before I had driven 300 miles and parked. Gotta love it. Hence the reason why I always call to check. The amount of time I just saved is invaluable. My load is due between 7am and 2pm, which means I will get plenty of sleep tonight. Hallelujah. I'm gonna shoot for 7:30 or 8:00 because that place is a zoo when they first open. Not sure where I'll be sent next, but I couldn't possibly care less. Home time is coming this week, and I'm already preparing for it. I have to hit the ground running as soon as I'm parked. Lots to do. I need an assistant LMAO. As a side note, big thanks to @wprice0511 for your help. I appreciate you, sir. I wish I could thank you in person but I know you'll be gearing up to head out with your trainer when I get home. Well guys, thanks for listening to me complain. That's all I have for today. Hope you're all doing well. Be safe out there in Truckerland. Keep the rubber side down and check your pins. Peace y'all.

That total BS that guy sleeping in the drop yard. Hell, the last 2 times I was there I had to slide the tandems just to be able to get out of the slot then stop and reset them once out because the rows are so jacked up, can't imagine someone doing a 10 there and making it that much harder.

On a side note, when I deliver in Sun Prairie I've always gotten there about 45 min before they open then hang out on the stairs with my paperwork. So far has always put me in the 1st group to dock and I'm out within 45 min of docking. Plus since the group is all docking at the same time we all see who has what door then dock from left to right so no need to dock between 2 trucks in addition to a couple others that might have parked right in front there. Usually empty, swept out, scanned in and ready right as all the new loads are popping out.

Cool, I may try that. My biggest concern is the lack of space inside the gate. I figured I'd let the place breathe a little before trying to sign in. How's the space inside the gate when they open?
