Yokos are interesting. It was a primary steer on our tractor about a year. I was on ice in nevada bond warehouse after loading in Cherries, the little round cherries served at bars very expensive freight. That ice caused a problem in steering and we got through it. However the side walls of the tires were damaged becuase of large inputs on the steering wheel needed to hold her straight against the slope of gravity. (Does that make sense to you?) FFE Swapped it out with another set of Yokos brand new and we aint had no trouble with it.
I like em. But it's a little bit of a rub against my red blooded american feelings.... but not too much.

I don't know if rocks wedged in the tread grooves contribute to that or not, but I'm forever prying the rocks out of said grooves when I see them in there.
I think one of my steers has a small divet in it too. Nowhere near the bottom of the groove like that. But I've had Pilot's do that very thing that is in the OP's picture. Drove 'em til Spring and replaced them. -
My Michelen steer failed tonight. New couple months ago. Not sure what caused it to go Kaboom!
