What are good these days or are they all pretty much Chinesium junk. Just put six new ones on and i don't think I got a round one in the bunch out of the box. Truck stopped straight as an arrow before I did them and now it will shake the fillings out of your teeth

-
Or used an inferior grade of brake grease..... LMAO
Grubby and dngrous_dime Thank this. -
I run balanced drums for now but will be changing to disc brakes.
-
If it stopped straight as a arrow, put those drums back on...
-
You just can't be buying cheap parts that feel of the back of a truck. Webb makes a good steel drum. Pay the extra for balanced ones. Just don't expect them to cost under a hundred bucks like some Chinese knockoff.Derailed Thanks this.

These are Meritor Alliance that I put on. They were on the cheap side but supposedly made in the US so I figured I'd give them a shot. Guess it was a mistake
-
Are they steel or cast iron? Balanced or not?
-
Cast and balanced. Webb is what i was going to go with. Should have stuck with them
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
I would of thought freightliners house brand would of been better than that. Go get steel balanced webb brand drums. Assuming they are installed correctly you will be happy you spent the extra money.Derailed Thanks this.
