Are you going to get on corn right away or give it some more time? Do you have a dryer?

The sheet rock finisher started yesterday afternoon. I've been playing fireman today, so I'll go look in the morning to see what he got done. Should be priming/painting the bathroom, laundry and kitchen this weekend.

I was afraid 25 tons would not cut it for you. A load back is on you. The loads were on hoploads.com. I haven’t checked recently but I got to believe they are still posting.

Do you guys have to pick rocks where you're at, or is that further west of you?

We have to pick rocks on our land, some are worse then others depending on location. I've been trying to dig down rock piles for the past couple years on land we own. For example on a quarter of land there can be up to 7 rock piles which were put there many years ago. We've been trying to clean them up so there is less obstructions out in the field.

The rock piles can vary in size so some take a lot of time and some go pretty quick.

I've been working on a dirt job for my dad the past week or so.
    KIMG0467.JPG KIMG0469.JPG
It's an old strip job about a mile in off the hard road...

I was bsing with my dad about how I'm going to move equipment around next year...he's got a buddy putting in a campground and he's looking to have us do the digging.

I'm thinking of buying an old tandem rolloff truck... preferably a Mack.

I can take a 30yd box and we can weld a tailgate for it and tie downs on the inside for the equipment.

It's an idea at least...I see them going dirt cheap sometimes, usually in rough shape but that's okay.
