Got my first ever oversized load on the deck. Butt pucker factor turned up to 11.

Going to Oxon Hill Maryland for Friday delivery. Bout an hour from the Texas/Arkansas state line. Hope to make it to cookeville Tennessee tomorrow night. But we shall see.

The load is ####y enough without the oversized pieces... and it's heavy on the ###... we're talking 24k on the drives and a 17/17 split on the spread. Not too happy about that but it'll ride.

 

Where abouts in Kansas?

 

Gonna ride up to Joplin cut through the hole in the wall to liberal. I can't not stop at parsons lol. From there gonna dead head up to St. Joseph Mo.

 

Anybody seen or heard from @Bear135 lately?

 

I was thinking that earlier today

 

Went to the dentist to have a broken tooth/crown fixed. He wanted to pull it and put an implant in. After getting a $3500 estimate, I told him no. His next option was to put a stud into the root canal channel and attach another crown. My cost, $653. As I sit here in my chair, I think Option C, a ball bat to the jaw, would have been more pleasant. Not much of a pill guy, but I'm currently waiting on the tylenol to kick in.

 

For a minute, I thought I was getting a visitor. Parsons is my last name.

 

I think that little greasy spoon at parsons is the best thing ever. I know it don't take much lol

 

So far we've hauled 61 loads, over 240 tons of fill dirt, 200 miles and all of that in an old 94 F350 with a 460 big block...

She's getting a work out, we estimated 4 tons a load but I've had probably double that on some of the loads...

The road is getting a little muddy, we're Hauling the machine out tomorrow after 4 or 5 more loads of fill and a load of coal for the stove in the garage.

Loading tomorrow afternoon for a nuclear plant in Georgia.

 

What size excavator do you have there?
