Still quiet around here getting the occasional load here and there with all the great rain we've had in the central Queensland area the cattle properties have cancelled alot of there orders for cattle supplements and so work has really slowed down to one or 2 loads per week it pays the bills but hey i'd love to be able to save a bit of money and bank it as well So we're hoping it'll all dry up very quickly as spring progresses into Summer down under.

Well.......it's official. I'm leaving the ol' girl. found a newer one that will end up costing me less then the old one was.

I signed the loan paperwork today, picking the truck up tomorrow. Bought a 2013 Freightliner Columbia Glider. First thing I need to do is add some barbed wire decals to the side.

Yep....... I'm certainly taking a loss, but seams I may have an injector or 2 going bad and Mack won't warranty a warranty. So I'd be on the hook for another $5,000 and I'm done putting any more money in the truck. If I have to OH the series 60, it's under $7,500. If I was going to keep the Mack, I'd look for aftermarket injectors, the Volvo/Mack ones are horrible.

Both. I bought new ones that went bad after 70,000 miles. They replaced then when I did my OH in June.

Are they hard to swap out? Expensive?

Not that it matters since you have moved on. I bought a Detroit engine, I thought they were cheap to rebuild. Not a DD15 lmao. Good luck, with the new truck.
