Mack needs a special tool to remove the cups and the tool is not cheap. Not everyone can or is willing to change injectors on the MP8 because of this.

The truck I bought has a '99 series 60. Everyone can work on that. o_O

Only thing I know about dd15 is the oil change is expensive and the 2011 had injector issues.

There was a change in my normal routine last night. Sprague's in Searsport, ME. ran out of caustic, so now we have to go to Fall River, MA. We don't have an over weight permit to run in MA., so we can't load over 80k. A couple drivers went down and didn't have time to deliver their loads, so I spent the night unloading trailers.

The second trailer I had was a total piece of ####! I really wish more of our drivers would tell the shop when stuff needs work. The suspension wouldn't come up, and trailer had almost no braking!! Then to top it all off, nobody from my company told the mill in Rumford I would be coming in after hours.

It's going to be interesting to see how things shake out once Jay finally closes. I know SMI has already laid people off and once they close Rumford will have to get slurry out of Portland.

I had a trailer today with the ABS out. Twice I came over hills in Tennessee and had to get on the brakes hard trailer tires lit up.

Not fun. Nope. Dang. Surprised you rolled with it; I'd have said 'nope.' Was it preloaded?

I didn't brake that hard in the last 2500 miles. I keep a safe distance. But hills and broken down trucks or an accident.... Get on the brakes hard and an axle locked up. Maybe they are just really out of adjustment. It's a spring suspension trailer. No warning light on the dash.

Verso has a paper mill in Jay Maine. Specialty Minerals also has a small plant right there at the mill.
The mill hasn't been doing well, but there have been two mill closures in other parts of the country and since then they have done better. Also when Sappi completes their no. 1 paper machine rebuild, they will need more pulp that their pulp mill wont be able to make, so they have been looking at using the idle digester in Jay.

May I ask who you're working for? I'm very seriously considering going back to my old terminal in WTX hauling crude, but I'd keep hauling propane if the money was right.
