You aren’t entirely correct about being ineligible for student loans.

That would vary by state, program, or student loan corporation.


Prime is a good option. Before you get cut loose with your own truck, you’ll have 45,000 miles driving experience....

That’s the route I would go if I didn’t have the money to pay for schooling, or couldn’t get some money to help cover the cost.

 

Also, check this one in North Las Vegas. They finance tuition if needed.
Contract Freighters (www.cfidrive.com) has their own inhouse cdl school. This company has an excellent reputation with drivers. Coast to coast dry van company. Sometimes they pay for private cdl school and also have their own school in Joplin,MO. Pays for transportation to get there plus meals and lodging while there.

 

AIT is owned by Werner, so they really push Werner while you're in school.

lol....students aren't required to work for Werner, but the pressure is on to work there.

 

Its bad enough trying to learn to drive a truck, yet alone a company like Werner pressuring him to come work for Werner
