What about handling paperwork in the recieving/shipping office or being on the dock?
Tell me, which one of the fellas over there at K&B are you sleeping with? You seem awfully fond of them.

Just a few playful jabs. I looked through his post history and found that he really truly seems to know everything there is to know. Already decided to ignore him.

No I wasn't arrested. I was seated in the passenger seat while the trooper took my information. It was pouring down rain outside.
I waited in the patrol car for the tow truck to arrive, and when I spoke to the tow truck driver I was seated in the passenger seat of that patrol car and the tow truck driver had his head in the drivers side window of the patrol car. The trooper was seated in the drivers seat.
So my conversation with the tow truck driver was recorded by the vehicle's camera system.
I tried to contact the trooper but he has the next few days off work and I was unable to speak to him.
The trooper gave me a ride to the motel. I was never placed in the back of a patrol car. I was given a level 3 inspection on the truck. I wasn't charged, arrested, handcuffed, or anything of the sort.dog-c, Bumper and CrappieJunkie Thank this. -
We literally cleaned the truck out at FFE a few blocks from Graceland terminal. (On very good terms mind you. Everything was organized to a tee for our final day) Rental car was at the Memphis airport, scored a fast car for the two of us, tossed the few possessions into it. Home was three hours away down 40 and back roads. Turn in rental car with one of our cars following.
Cost? Taint more than a hundred max total. It was a really good day because the following week were hooking onto McKesson loads just as soon that new tractor came out of KW Little Rock shop being made ready for us.
Some of the typing or complaining rather about not having anything to go anywhere is silly. Renting a car? Enterprise will come pick you up. And you will drive back in the car. Or one of the drivers can take you there in the company van.
I focused only on renting. The other part focuses on the idea you are chained to a job. You are not. In these United States essentially all Jobs are "At will" meaning you can leave at any time, or your employer can discharge you at any time.
Takes a kind of special stupid to endure a beating at a job one hates for a very long time. Truckers are generally crafty, take the dispatcher calling you or messaging you while you are on your 10 hour break sleeping. Start the 14 hour onduty clock instantly and stay on it a hour dealing with same. They will learn to stop bothering you right quick. When a 15 minute call turns into a 10 more hour delay before you get moving again.
(And document this for unemployment when they do blow a stack and fire you.... it takes alot to blow a stack...) he he he.
