At the end of the day, no matter what the situation or circumstance, I think it boils down to asking yourself " Did I do the best that I could?" If you can say yes to that simple question, then you left it all on the field, however the chips land is not up to you at that point.

Well, in my sister's husband situation, they can't ask those questions because they don't know the answer. He was special forces in Desert Storm. When your friends die right next to you, it's not as easy as telling them to deal with it.

It's easy to say , but as you get older it surfaces, waking up sweating and shaking is not a fun thing.

Whatever. You deal with it. Everyday. It doesn't go away. Or you can play the poor me, fall off into the fringes of society and become an outlaw biker or something useful like that. Or just put a .45 in your mouth. Or just snap out of it, and move on.

Everybody is pretty much the same coming out as when they went in, you might not like that, but it is what it is.

The Bible teaches.............." As a child, I reasoned as a child. Now that I am a man, I reason as a man. "

A man is defined by his actions, not his memories.
